About Encounter Ministries

Encountering God…

Seeds are never meant to remain as seeds; they are created to grow. Faith begins as a seed in your heart but is destined to grow. Encounters are like the water for your heart, increasing your faith and bring you closer to God. Encounter Ministries provides a safe and supporting environment where, as a congregation, you can work together with others to become closer to Christ.

Encounter Ministries prides itself on the support found within its congregation. When it becomes known that a certain brother or sister of the Lord requires support, there are always someone (usually many) who are ready to lend a hand. Whatever your background may be, student or worker, young or old, everyone is encouraged to come together at Encounter, grow their faith, and become closer to God.

We Believe That…

Jesus Saves
Jesus Empowers
Jesus Heals

Encounter Ministries is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, a world-wide Pentecostal denomination that affirms the doctrine of the Trinity, the authority of scripture, and salvation by grace through faith.

Pastor Craig Adams

Pastor Craig Adams is a life-long minister with a strong anointing for supernatural encounter. A native of the Pacific Northwest, Craig and his wife Courtney believe that God wants to move on the Palouse, and see His people activated in supernatural ministry and love.

Born in rural Eastern Oregon, Craig sensed the call of God on his life at an early age, entering full-time ministry in his 20s, and traveling the country ministering in churches big and small. He studied at Mattersey Hall Bible College before returning to the states to do youth ministry. Before coming to Pullman he and his wife pastored a growing church in Kansas. God called Craig and his young family back to the Pacific Northwest in 2015, where they are excited to build a new church in Pullman, WA.

Craig is a gifted preacher and teacher with an anointing for healing and divine impartation.

Dr. Bill Cofer

Dr. Bill Cofer serves as the associate pastor of Encounter Ministries, overseeing pastoral care and spiritual growth programs. Bill is a long-time Pullman resident, having served over twenty years as professor of civil engineering at Washington State University.

Bill is an experienced teacher and counselor, and is passionate about seeing Christians of all ages grow in their relationship with God and understanding of His Word.

Experiencing God together so others can encounter God through us.

The Bible tells us that we are stronger together. God created us to connect — first with Him and then with others. At Encounter Ministries, we run weekly services with an aim of bringing the Pullman community together to share their love of Christ.
